A picturesque pedestrian street that connects the Metropolitan Cathedral of Athens with the Tzistarakis Mosque, the street of Pandrossou is a crossroad of cultures and stories. Just a breath away from the Acropolis and the ancient Agora, it hosts the last two centuries a creative hive of small family businesses.
Full of enthusiasm and faith in the dynamics of the area, an informal group of businessmen proceeded in 2011 on an initiative. The Pandrossou Street Market showed strong activity in collaboration with public and private initiatives in various fields (cultural events, beautification of the area, touristic promotion, educational and charitable activities, digital marketing campaigns).
As an informal group, they joined the City of Athens online platform “SynAthina” , actively participated in the Athens – Attica & Argosaronic Hotel Association‘ Affiliate Network and in cooperation with the Athens Traders Association hosted the farewell ceremony of the international conference TBEX Europe 2014 .
Today this informal group is evolving and acquiring a legal status. Believing in the importance of cooperation at all levels and with the support of Small Business Institute “Ime-Gsevee” , proceeds to the next step.
